An academic/religious document in illuminated Latin script on vellum, 1674. The document consists of four leaves, the first with “Carolus” in gold surrounded by an illustrated header decoration colored with red and blue, and with further illuminated names and phrases throughout the text, which is blocked by a linear border. The document reads in part: “Pancottus I.V.D. Protonotarius Apticus Illustrisimi Rmi in Christa Patris D.D. Archiepiscopi LAURENTY TROTT Dei & Aptice Sedis oratia Sancte Papiensis Ecctie Episcopi…,” and is signed “Petrus Habona” alongside a device on the last leaf. Two holes were previously punched through the margins of the document, and it is sewn into a paper over board folder. The leaves are in good condition, except for small edge tears and a corner torn/missing on the last leaf. The document measures 23 x 16 cm.
