The report, written in ink in Italian on both sides of the pages, in two parts, with notes next to it, is easy to read. A record of the events of the Council of Trent (1545-64), of which this is a later, authentic copy. Milledonne (1522-1588) was a writer and diplomat, secretary of the city of Venice. His (and others) original record spread in manuscript copies until the printed appearance of the text of the Synod – the first was published by Fra Paolo Sarvi in ​​London in 1619. The complete and authentic story was published by Sforza Pallavicini in 1656-57 in two volumes.

Our volume was owned by Count Giacomo Durazzo (1717-1794), a diplomat from the Republic of Genoa.
